FAQs

What are check in/check out times?
Bring your things in at 2pm, take your things out by 2pm.

How much is the deposit?
$500, refundable 30 days prior to event.
Non-refundable 2 weeks prior to the event.

Can we serve alcohol?
Yes, but we'll require you to show proof of Host Liquor Liability Insurance

Do we need to bring sheets?
No, CrossHeirs supplies all the sheets and linens you’ll need, along with other toiletries.

Can we bring our pets?
Absolutely! Just be sure to get approval beforehand; there might be an additional security deposit.

Can we smoke?
No smoking inside the lodge.
When smoking outside, we ask you to be respectful of other guests and make sure to take proper care when throwing away cigar or cigarette butts. There are several ash buckets around the area.

Do we need to bring our own canoes?
We provide canoes, kayaks and other boats on a first come, first serve basis for all guests. Please be sure to clean after each use.

Can we clean our own fish?
Of course! Just be sure to clean up afterwards.

Is there a shooting range?
We have a sporting clay range available to all guests as long as you have approval from the staff. We do not provide guns or ammunition, but will provide clay targets.
Please check with our staff about designated shooting areas.

Is there any place off-limits?
We do not own the farm, so please steer clear of the farm and its leaves, along with other staff-only areas.

Can we build a fire?
Yes, but only in fire pits! If there is a fire ban in place, we’ll let you know beforehand.

What about ATVs?
ATVs are welcome as long as you avoid the farm area and its leaves.
