About CrossHeirs Retreat Center

Nestled just outside Stuttgart, Arkansas - widely known as the duck hunting capital of the world - CrossHeirs Retreat Center is a place shaped by tradition, hospitality, and a deeper sense of purpose.

What began as a vision for a world-class lodge has grown into something more: a setting intentionally created to bring people together. From the moment we opened our doors, CrossHeirs has existed to welcome, gather, and connect - offering a space where relationships deepen, stories are shared, and meaningful moments take root.

Rooted in Purpose. Built for Gathering.

CrossHeirs was designed to feel timeless from the start. With rich architectural detail, warm wood tones, and expansive gathering spaces, the lodge reflects the beauty of the surrounding land while offering the comfort and refinement of a luxury retreat.

Recognized by the Wall Street Journal as the “Taj Mahal of Duck Hunting,” CrossHeirs has long been known for its exceptional setting and reputation. Yet beyond accolades, what defines this place is the experience it creates - one that feels welcoming, unhurried, and deeply grounded.

At its core, CrossHeirs is about people. Around long tables, beside stone fireplaces, and across open fields, guests find space to slow down and truly be present.

Whether hosting a group retreat, welcoming a wedding celebration, or gathering for a reason of hunting, the lodge offers room to connect. Every detail, from the layout of the spaces to the rhythm of the meals shared together, is designed with togetherness in mind.
